Vest for burn management

The vest for burn management (sleeveless, short or long sleeves, sternal shaper) is indicated for the treatment of thermal, chemical and electrical burns as well as the treatment of skin graft areas.

It prevents the appearance of hypertrophic scars and retractable bands, or improves their appearance. It helps fight against the functional or unsightly complications of these scars.

The vest for burn management will be applied on closed wonds, as soon as the epidermis is rebuilt. The first placement will be provided by a health professional. The seams are placed outside.

Placement advice

It is imperative that the patient wear their vest often and for as long as possible in order to promote healing.

The first fitting must be carried out by a healthcare professional in order to check the correct positioning of the garment, without risk for the patient.

Caution: the seams must be placed outside so as not to mark the skin and to avoid any discomfort to the patient.
