GLY KO CREAM WHITENING combines the benefits of different components which act at different levels.
We use Gatuline Whitening as the base of this cream.
This patented system consists of a fraction obtained by fermentation (kojic and lactic acids), a liquorice extract and TRANSCUTOL.
A The kojic acid present in the GLY KO CREAM WHITENING acts on the melanocytes, to inhibit the tyrosinase activity, therefore reducing melanin synthesis. This was demonstrated by in vitro and ex-vivo tests.
B The effect of kojic acid would be facilitated in vivo by the presence of TRANSCUTOL in the GLY KO CREAM WHITENING. Indeed, TRANSCUTOL is an absorption enhancer which improves the penetration of the actives into the epidermis and creates a reservoir a the dermal-epidermal junction. This is particularly interesting for this application because the melanocytes are located in the basal layer of the epidermis.
C Finally, the presence of liquorice extract in this system allows for all the benefits of kojic acid without the disadvantages. Kojic acid sometimes causes tolerance problems which are not evident in the case of the GLY KO CREAM WHITENING. The tolerance profile is excellent due to the soothing properties of liquorice extract, thanks to the presence of glycyrrhetinic acid.
The presence of Transcutol®, absorption promotor, in the ability to improve membrane permeability and to create a therapeutic interface where the epidermis and dermis meet. This is particularly favourable in the presence of melanocytes on the epidermal stratum.
Gly Ko Cream Whitening combines the effectiveness of several compounds extracted from liquorice and aspergillus, which work at different levels. This is combined with vitamin E and allantoin.
